what if Tabung Haji does a guerilla marketing?
Hai and Assalamualaikum.
I’m sure all of you know about Tabung Haji. Lembaga Tabung
Haji (TH) is the premiere Islamic financial institution in Malaysia, a
statutory body setup by the Government of Malaysia in 1963. Other than that,
Tabung Haji helps muslims in Malaysia to do savings account to perform Hajj. They
promise to help the pilgrims to get their Mabrur hajj with reasonable expenses.
Tabung Haji Travel is also one of Tabung
Haji business to help people travel to the Holy land and other Islamic countries.
As other companies also growing fast in traveling business, I
think Tabung Haji should do some marketing that will make people remember and
confident to choose Tabung Haji Travel as their travel agent to go to perform
Hajj or travel to Islamic countries.
Guerilla marketing is one of the strategies that Tabung Haji
should use to promote their company. As what I’ve been thinking as an idea, I
suggest that along the way to go to the surau in a two different shopping mall
in KL and Shah Alam, Tabung Haji provide their logo on the walls and when people arrived outside of
the surau there will be a free 3D photo backdrop. The backdrop is placed on the
walls before entering surau area and it portray the background of Kaabah. At the
walls also there will be a Tabung Haji sling bag that already been stick at the
walls so that people can wear it while taking photos.
So that’s it. I think my idea is not too bad to be applied
one day by Tabung Haji :)
